My love of landscape comes from my childhood. My fondest memories of growing up in west Wales revolve around the wonderful lush green gentle rolling hills, woods and rivers of Carmarthenshire. It was so easy to get to and explore.  Wherever I have lived and worked I have carried my love of this countryside with me.

A long time fascination with the artisan arts and crafts of Japan has introduced me to another landscape I have come to love, different, but equally beguiling.
